Modular Office Extension
We were asked by our client to provide accommodation to enable certain parts of their business to merge onto one site. We linked onto the existing building with a 6 bay modular building providing toilets and further office space.
Standalone Classroom - Bedfordshire
The school required a building at short notice, and to fit into a specific area on the site. We managed to provide the accommodation and services the school required and to the tight budget constraints available. We also managed to design it in a way that allows the site to continue to expand in future.
Sports Club Facility - Rugby
Our client needed a new home whilst its permanent facility was being developed. Located in Coventry we provided a cost effective solution that included all aspects of works from design, groundworks and the complete fit out of the building. We handed this building over on time, only having the summer holidays to complete the building works.
Winery - Saffron Walden
Our client needed a tasting area for their home-grown winery and was looking to achieve a contemporary and cost-effective solution on a site with tight access. The client contacted us with their brief and we immediately knew our brand new flatpack modular buildings would be perfect for this project.
Garden Centre Gift Shop - Ely
Skylark needed the building in order to support the growth of their business. They were using it as an additional retail area and as a connection/walkthrough between their outdoor areas and their indoor retail and gardening areas.
Internal Warehouse Office - Milton Keynes
Our client was moving into a new manufacturing warehouse but needed additional office space inside the warehouse. They approached us with a brief for an office which could fit through the roller shutter doors of the warehouse and into a tight corner of the main room. Our flatpack range provided the solution.
Playcare Centre - Southminster
Our client required a 4 bay modular building for use as a preschool block. The building was 12.4m x 7.6m overall and featured a variety of facilities internally. The client also needed us to work closely with them and their architects.
Learning Space & Classroom Block - Biggleswade
The school required increased accommodation for the upcoming academic year which included a number of classrooms, locker rooms and open plan learning spaces. The building also had to link to the existing building on both ground and first floor. We had a very tight space to work in.
Satellite Office - Huntingdon
Our customer required some extra space at their current facility, but due to the nature of the site there was only a very small footprint of space available. The unit had to provide power, heating and light, along with cooling as the windows could not be opened due to the nature of the works.
Main Site Office Complex - Canary Wharf
This two storey modular building was refurbished and delivered to supply a main site office complex! Open plan offices, meeting rooms, kitchens and toilets featured in this big project of which our modular team started the refurbishment at our Alconbury depot and then completed at the clients Canary Wharf site.
Office and Canteen Set Up - London
This project saw a two storey 16 bay modular being installed in London. The clients were residential house builders who were in need of a building to use on site as a canteen and office accommodation set up.
Timber Clad Office - Southport
This modular building was refurbished and delivered to supply a satellite office to our client. Open plan offices, meeting rooms, kitchens and toilets featured in this project which began in our Alconbury depot and was completed in Southport by our installation team.
Day Nursery - Offord D'Arcy
The client required an existing building that had come to the end of its life to be replaced. The new building had to fit on the same site but with some new design elements included. This was achieved whilst working on a school site and to tight deadlines.
Temporary Church - Higham Ferrers
8 bay modular building installed locally for use as a church. The building was fully refurbished and installed as part of a full package supplied to the client. The building was a big project which again was completed successfully by our modular team. Another great install.
Nursery Block - Byfleet
One of our latest installs was a 4 bay nursery that was sourced, refurbished and installed for a customer in Byfleet. The building was 11.8m x 7.5m overall and featured a variety of facilities internally.
Community Shop - Alconbury Weald
A 3 bay clad modular building in the heart of the new housing developments at Alconbury Weald. Supplied by Modular GB to the clients standard to supply a small friendly shop. This building was refurbished, transported and sited by the Modular team. A huge success and a good feeling of helping out the neighbours in our local community!
Office & Training Centre London
A two storey Modular building providing high quality office accommodation. Comprising 8 no 10m x 3m refurbished modules forming 240m2 , installed in one day and completed two weeks later. The scope of works included full Mechanical and electrical installation with Air Conditioning, LED lighting and fire and intruder alarms.
Classroom Block - Cambridgeshire
This 800 sq mtr 26 bay modular building provided classroom and office facilities during a major rebuilding project over a 12 month period during the construction phase of a new building.
Community Centre - Cambridge
A 3 bay Modular building designed externally to fit in with existing buildings. The requirement was to hire the building for a 2 to 3 year period.
School Development - Lincolnshire
Very often in school renovation projects the initial problem is that of finding sufficient space in a suitable configuration to accommodate the 'temporary' class rooms whilst the permanent buildings are under renovation. In this example, the modular classrooms were erected on the car parking areas.
Corporate Headquarters - Bedfordshire
This 7 bay building was provided to offer high quality accommodation for management personnel. It included fully distributed underfloor IT services, air conditioning and all staff welfare services and facilities. The accommodation was needed in order to release the customer's existing buildings for production and storage services.
Football Club Social Centre Northamptonshire
This 6 bay modular building provides a social base for a local football club. It features a large 'Club House' with a floor suitable for dancing and general social events for the community. Toilet, kitchen, and bar facilities were also provided.
